Little Actions

Megha is a Bengaluru based high school student with a deep passion for environmental restoration and advocacy. Growing up near the infamous Bellandur Lake that mysteriously ‘caught fire’, she has observed the increasing pollution and its detrimental effect on the society. Megha believes in creating change through engaging activities and learning. Combining her passion for music and theater with environmental restoration, she works to ignite love for the planet and its beautiful greenery through songs, dance, plays and games, making environmental restoration not just a task but something that the future generations enjoy.

Little Actions, as the name suggests focuses on small actions that have sustainable impact on the environment over a period of time. Founded by a high school student passionate about the environment, Little Actions works with children to raise awareness and inculcate habits that transform them to become champions of change, doing their little bits, in their own way, in their communities. Little Actions believes that children will internalize these lessons and experiences, multiplying the effect, as they grow up.

Hey! I’m Adya Soni, and I’ve always loved teaching and having fun with kids. During my first experience with Little Actions, I had the opportunity not only to bond with them but also to teach them the importance of conserving water. In today’s world, it’s crucial for children to understand the value of natural resources, especially as their misuse becomes an increasing concern. I’m grateful to be part of this process in which I can help kids not only recognize the vitality of resources around us but also how we can work together to preserve it.

Hi! I'm Shresta, and a strong passion of mine is to help change the dire state the environment is in. I believe that any action, no matter big or small, taken towards restoring and protecting the environment is crucial. I think an important part of this mission is to inform the younger generation about how they too, in their own ways, can do a little more to save the environment so that everyone can have a better world to grow in. Through observing my mother teach, I realise the effectiveness of using activities and puzzles with young students. This time-tested approach instills the understanding that they can make environmentally-friendly decisions right from the start.

Hello! I’m Pritika, and I’ve always loved spending time with kids and learning from their energy and curiosity! My experience with Little Actions gave me the chance not only to connect with children but also to share with them the importance of caring for the environment. It made me realise how powerful and important it is to start these conversations early, when values are still being formed.

The environment is facing so many challenges today, and I believe that small steps taken at a young age can grow into lifelong habits. That’s why I feel so strongly about the work done at little actions - making children aware in simple, fun, and meaningful ways. For me, it’s really special to be part of a team that inspires kids to see themselves as protectors of the world around them. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity Little Actions has given me to contribute to this amazing and incredible process, and I’m so excited to learn and grow with the team!
